Le Bouex is on the Western side of France.  It is south of the Loire valley.  There are many possible ways of getting  there.

By air
Le Bouex is only 45 minutes from Poitier.  This airport is served by Ryanair and with careful booking it is possible to fly from Stansted for less than the cost of the airport taxes.  Once at the airport there is car hire available.   There is one flight every day.

By train
Eurostar is a very pleasant way to travel.  From Waterloo you can change to the TGV, France’s premier train service,  either in Paris or in Lille, and then travel  either to Chatellerault (30minutes from Le Bouex) or Poitiers.  Again car hire is easily arranged.

By car
France is well served by ferries from England.  The shortest route to Le Bouex is from Caan.  The Portsmouth to Caan route is served by Brittany Ferries and is the longest crossing but the shortest car journey.  It can be done in just over 4 hours.  It’s an easy drive with autoroutes  most of the way.
